Looking for a Manager Finance & Control – Lelystad

Join us now as we’re currently setting up Kyocera Fastening Solutions Europe, merging Kyocera Unimerco Fastening A/S in Denmark with Kyocera Senco BV in the Netherlands creating a 400-employee service and sales focused industry leader with the will, the plans and group support to expand further providing fastening solutions to the industry and the professional end user.

As Manager Finance & Control you handle the complete financial administration of the different entities in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland, together representing 60% of our total business in Europe.

You oversee the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC; approximately 7 persons) daily and handle the periodic closures of the above-mentioned entities. In addition to the day-to-day management of the team, you as a manager are also responsible for the further professionalization of the team and the activities. You are a member of the Finance Management Team (FMT) that reports to the CFO. This position requires a high degree of independence, an excellent sense of numbers and good analytical thinking.

Your main activities & responsibilities are:
  • Daily management of the Finance Team that is based in the Netherlands (accounts payable, GL accounting/local controlling, credit management);
  • Ensuring an effective set-up of the administration and administrative processes, both for the entities that are served by the FSSC and for entities abroad that have their own local finance and accounting departments;
  • Managing and guiding the audit process for the respective entities;
  • Initiating, managing and/or participating in (financial) process improvement projects;
  • Preparing the annual accounts, budget, forecasts and various monthly / quarterly reports;
  • Regular consultation with the Group Controllers and local (assistant) Controller(s) on finance &accounting topics;
  • Contributing to group SAP improvement projects (finance, internal control, master data) within the group, providing guidelines and sharing best practices used in the FSSC

You have:
  • A completed Bachelor degree in a financial direction;
  • At least 10 years of demonstrable work experience in a comparable managerial role;
  • Internationally oriented;
  • Experience in trading companies. Experience in production companies is an advantage;
  • Extensive SAP experience;
  • Experience with payroll, experience with pensions is an advantage;
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language, both written and spoken (German is a plus);
